Size

At 9 in (23 cm) it reaches the bottom of a tall glass with your hand still out of the water, which is the point of the length. The head is the narrow end, so it goes into a jar or a bottle neck that a sponge cannot enter.

Good to know

Check the variant before you order. One option is the brush and one is a replacement head on its own, at nearly the same price, and they are not the same item.

The source calls the construction biodegradable and lists plastic bristles in the same description. Both cannot be true. The handle is wood and the collar is steel, the bristles are plastic and go in the trash rather than the compost, and nobody resolved that before this page went up.

Wood handles split when they sit in standing water. The hook is there for a reason, and a brush left face down in a wet sink caddy will not last a year.
