Most of what comes off a pair of shoes comes off in the first two steps, which is the whole argument for a mat placed where people actually stop. This one carries a sea turtle, starfish and coral in blues and sand, over a heavy backing that holds on wood, tile and concrete.

A front door is about 36 in wide. The large at 31.5 in across covers nearly all of it. The medium at 23.6 in leaves a strip of bare floor on either side, which looks deliberate against a narrow door and stranded against a wide one.
Good to know
The design sits on the top face, so it wears where the traffic lands. Shake it out or run a vacuum over it. A stiff brush takes the print off along with the dirt.
This is a wipe off mat, not a boot scraper. Mud that needs teeth stays on your soles and comes inside with you. Put this one at the inside door and keep something coarse out on the step if your winter runs to mud.
