Good to know
Thick soap is what kills a narrow pump tube. A gel that holds its shape on your palm will want four presses for one wash, so cut it with a little water as you refill, or keep this one for thinner liquid soaps and leave the gel by the shower.
Care
Wipe the outside with a damp cloth. A textured ceramic surface holds dried soap down in the grain, where it dries chalky and shows up pale against the darker finishes, so rinse the neck and the pump under warm water every time you top it up.
