The wooden box is half of what you are buying. A glass that arrives in its own case survives a bookshelf, a move and a gift wrap, which is not true of a tumbler shipped loose in a carton.
The glass itself is heat resistant, 2.9 in (73 mm) tall and 2.8 in (70 mm) across, holding 6.8 oz (200 ml) filled to the brim. Squat, wide, with a relief cut into the wall that catches light through the spirit.

Size
6.8 oz (200 ml) is the brim measurement, not the pour. A normal dram sits in the bottom third of the glass, which leaves the relief pattern doing its work above the liquid and room for a single large cube rather than a handful of small ones.
Care
Wash it by hand and dry it with a cloth while it is still warm. A cut relief holds droplets in the grooves, and air drying leaves a water spot exactly where the light hits.
Good to know
A short wide glass concentrates less aroma than a tulip shaped nosing glass, so this is a tumbler for drinking rather than for a tasting flight. If the whiskey is the event, pour it here and enjoy it. If the tasting notes are the event, use something narrower.
