Read the proportions before the picture. The bridge is 8 in (20 cm) long and only 4 in (10 cm) tall, so it lies along a shelf. The wavy tower is 2 in (5 cm) wide and 9 in (23 cm) tall, so it stands and it tips if a cat walks past.

Good to know

These are objects with a hollow in them rather than workhorse vases, and the narrow ones plan on one stem. For fresh flowers, sit a small glass or a florist's water tube down inside and fill that. Dried stems, grasses, and a single branch go straight in with nothing underneath them.
