Anchor decor usually lands in one of two places: a thin plastic wall hook, or a salvaged iron piece that needs a stud finder and a second pair of hands. This one is a cast resin ornament that stands on a desk and stays where you set it down.

Resin under a stone effect finish reads heavier than it lifts. That works in your favor on a floating shelf, where the same piece in real iron would become a fixing problem, and against you on a windowsill in a room where a door slams. Set it back from the edge.

The rope detail is the part that ages well and the part that collects dust. Recessed texture like that will not wipe clean with a cloth; it wants something with bristles.

Care

Dust with a dry soft brush, working across the rope grooves rather than along them. Keep it out of hard direct sun, since painted stone effect finishes fade unevenly on resin and the raised areas always go first.
