Pantry jars fail at the lid, not at the glass. A bare wooden lid resting on a glass rim lets air through the joint, and almonds that were crisp in week one taste like cardboard by week four.
These are glass jars with acacia wood lids, and each lid carries a silicone ring that presses down against the rim. Five capacities, from 12 oz up to 52 oz.

Set your expectations before you order the big one. 52 oz is about six and a half cups, which is a bag of granola rather than a 5 lb sack of flour. Flour takes three of these, or a different container entirely.
Care
The glass takes the freezer and the dishwasher. The acacia lid takes neither. Wash it by hand in warm water, dry it straight away, and keep it off a radiator, because wood that dries too fast around a silicone insert is what starts a lid rocking instead of sealing.
Good to know
Stacking is the reason to own several, but a tall column of glass on a deep shelf means lifting three jars to reach the one at the bottom. Two high is the sensible limit in a cupboard you open every day.
