- Everything above hangs from a single point. Use a hook rated for the weight and drive it into a stud or a proper anchor, never plasterboard alone.
- Cotton rope gives a little in the first weeks under load. Expect to straighten it once, then it settles.
- Load the bottom shelf heaviest and the top lightest, or the whole thing swings whenever someone walks past.
