Most of the dirt in a hallway comes off shoes in the first few steps past the door, which is why the mat there matters more than the one under the dining table. This one is printed with a lineup of illustrated cats on a textured surface that grips underfoot, in two sizes.

A standard interior door is 32 in (81 cm) wide. The Large at 35 in (90 cm) runs wider than the doorway, which is what you want if people arrive two at a time. The Medium at 31 in (80 cm) tucks inside the frame and leaves the door swinging clear of it.
Good to know
Bold printing shows its wear. The traffic line lands about a foot in from the edge, where shoes hit first, and it shows on a printed face sooner than it would on a plain dark mat. Direct sun does the rest, so a south facing porch will pull the color down over a season or two while the same mat indoors keeps it.
