Stand the tall one next to a two liter soda bottle and they finish about level. The short one at 7.5 in (19 cm) sits below eye line on a dining table, which is where you want it: a vase you have to look around during dinner gets moved to the sideboard by dessert.

Height is the only measurement given. No diameter, no mouth opening, and on a narrow neck that is what decides whether you are putting in three stems or twelve. Start with a few and add.

Porcelain this slim is top heavy once a stem leans out of it. Keep it back from a table edge, and fill it part way rather than to the neck: water low in the vase acts as ballast, water at the top does nothing for you.
