A wall vase gives back the surface a table vase takes, which is worth more in a narrow hallway than anywhere else in a house. Nothing to move when you set down the shopping.
It is a resin hand mounted on the wall, fingers closed around a slim glass tube that holds the stems.

- Reads as sculpture when the tube is empty, so it earns the wall year round.
Lift the tube out to fill it at the sink and slide it back once the outside is dry. Filling it in place is how the wall behind it ends up with a mark that no amount of paint quite covers. Water adds real weight to anything hanging, so put the fixing into a stud or use a proper anchor in plasterboard rather than a picture hook.
Care
Rinse the tube with a narrow brush every few days and wipe the resin with a dry cloth. Keep the sculpted surface away from cleaning sprays, since the color sits on the outside of a resin cast and solvents lift it in patches.
