Care

Change the water every couple of days and clean the inside with a bottle brush. Textured glass hides a green waterline better than smooth glass does, which sounds like an advantage right up until you look at it in daylight.

Silk stems work here as well as fresh ones, and they let you skip the water entirely. Without water the texture in the glass stays the loudest thing in the piece, which is the reason to buy a vase shaped like a basket in the first place.
