Small pots dry out fast, and three in a row dry at three different rates depending on which end of the stand catches the afternoon sun. Rotate the whole thing a half turn each week and they stay level with each other.

Care

Water with a spoon rather than a can. A pot this size takes a tablespoon and keeps it, and the fastest way to lose a succulent here is a generous pour on a Sunday. Wipe the iron dry if water runs down it, since welded joints are where rust starts.
