Materials

410 food grade stainless steel with a rolled rim, so there is no raw edge to catch a finger or shred a sponge. Steel will not warp in a hot dishwasher the way thin plastic does, and it will not go cloudy after a year of tomato sauce.

Care

Dishwasher safe. Reheat in the oven or over a pot of simmering water, since steel and microwaves are a bad pairing in any kitchen.

Good to know

They stack in the fridge and nest in the cupboard, which is the whole argument for a matched set over the drawer of mismatched tubs you own now. If you want to see the contents through the wall of the box, glass is the material for that and this is not it.
