It is a resin vase finished in swirling brushwork, sold in a night sky version and a golden bloom version.
Materials
Resin, which takes fine brushwork better than a glaze does and weighs less than the look suggests. The light weight is the catch. A tall arrangement with a heavy head tips it over, so keep the stems short or drop a handful of pebbles in the base.
Care
Wipe the outside with a damp cloth and dry it straight away. Painted resin dislikes long soaks and abrasive pads, and both dull the finish in a way that does not come back.
Good to know
A patterned vase works alone. Set it beside another patterned piece and the shelf turns to noise. Give it a plain surface and let it be the only loud thing standing there.
