The ginkgo is the wide one at 6 x 6 in (15.2 x 15.2 cm), roughly the span of a postcard, and the palm is the small one at 5 x 3 in (12.7 x 7.6 cm). Hung in a row, mixing an 8 in (20.3 cm) willow with a 5 in (12.7 cm) palm reads as a collection; two leaves of the same height read as a mistake.

Each leaf hangs from one point on the back, so the weight goes through a single nail or screw head. That suits keys, a tote, a scarf, or a set of necklaces, and it is the wrong fitting for a loaded backpack or a wet winter coat, both of which pull down and forward at the same time.
