Fluted acrylic bends whatever is behind it, which is most of the point of a vase you can see straight through. This one is a flat slab with a ribbed face, made in an arch shape or a wavy shape, and it holds water for a fresh stem.

Care
Warm water and a soft cloth. Skip ammonia based glass cleaner, which crazes acrylic into a web of fine cracks, and skip the scouring side of the sponge, because a scratch that lands inside a groove is one you cannot polish back out.
Good to know
Acrylic marks where glass would shrug it off, and the ribbing means every scratch stays visible from the angle it happened. It also weighs very little, so a heavy stem leaning out past the edge takes the whole vase with it unless there is water in the base holding it down.
