Good to know
They are light boxes, not storage and not seating. Nothing goes on top of them and nothing goes inside beyond the lights already in there. They also read best against something dark: a bare white wall washes them out, a green tree or a porch after sunset does not.
Care
Pack them back into the carton they arrived in, with the bows loosened rather than crushed, and coil the light string instead of stuffing it. Ribbon that spends a year folded comes out of the attic folded.
