A bottle cap has to go somewhere, and normally it goes on the counter, then on the floor, then under the fridge. This one loads the cap into a barrel instead: clamp the arms over the neck, pull the trigger, and the cap comes off and leaves at speed.

Good to know

A metal cap traveling across a room is a small hard object with an edge on it. Point it at a wall, a fence or the far end of a garden, never at a face, a window or a light fitting, and count the dog and the toddler as part of the room before the first shot.

The caps still land somewhere. On grass they disappear into the lawn and turn up later under a mower or a bare foot, so sweep after a party rather than in the spring.
