Depth is the number that decides this one, not height. At 0.9 in (2.3 cm) front to back on the shallower version, it holds a stem or two and a splash of water, and a full arrangement is out of the question on either shape.

Two sets of measurements exist and neither is tied to a shape name, so treat the pair as a range: roughly the height of a paperback stood on end, narrow across, and shallow enough that you can see daylight either side of it. Confirm which set applies to the shape you want before ordering if the difference matters to you.

A body this flat tips easily. Anything top heavy, a peony, a sunflower, a branch with leaves still on it, will pull it over, so keep to one or two light stems or run it dry with dried grasses. There is no gold version either, whatever you may have seen listed elsewhere: the four swatches are white, black, Peru and silver.
